100 Dollar Monster Review – Legit or Just Another Bogus Scam?
Welcome to my review on 100 Dollar Monster. I’m sure many of you are wondering whether the 100 dollar Monster is a legit opportunity to earn money online or if it is a scam. Well, you have definitely come to the right place because in this review I will share with you everything you need to know about this program.
Alright without further ado, let’s get things started…
Name: 100 Dollar Monster
Price: $120 one time fee
100 Dollar Monster Overview
100 Dollar Monster is a program that claims you can earn six-figure income with a small investment of just $120. I’m sure many of you who saw this would have gotten a bit excited. Honestly, if this was my first time looking for opportunities to make money online probably I would have reacted the same way.
Unfortunately, having lost thousands of dollars in the past with various programs online that promised riches, you can say I am numb to all of these fat claims now.
One thing I can strongly say is that you will never earn six figures online using this program. Yea, that’s right. Although the website, opportunity and compensation plan looks legit, there are far too many things going on here that aren’t working in our favor.
About the Company?
One of the first things I tend to look at when coming across a site that requires you to pay money upfront is company details. What is the company? Who is the person who owns or runs this company? How long has it been up? Any negative reviews on them and etc?
Unfortunately, there isn’t much information about the company or people running it. All they did mention was that they are 5 hugely successful online marketers who have over 30 years of combined experiences and have made millions online which are definitely not sufficient enough for me to fully trust this opportunity.
Why would they not explain more about themselves? Or put some images to prove their legitimacy. Of course, they had an answer for that question. ” We operate undercover so that we are not bombarded individually with daily questions”. If you ask me, this answer here isn’t even valid at all. Probably more of an excuse to keep themselves low profiles.
I did some additional research and noticed that this domain was registered on the 3rd of February 2017 and will tentatively expire exactly 5 years later. Unfortunately, since it was privately registered I am not able to tell whose name has it been registered under.
Looking through some other websites and forums, it seems that a person named Mark Crosby is one of the five admins and is very likely the owner of the website. This is where things get a bit complicated. Mark Crosby himself made comments on several sites that he isn’t the owner but in some forums, people are claiming that he is the admin/owner of 100 dollar monster.
How Does it exactly work?
How 100 dollar Monster work is quite straightforward.
First, you will need to join 100 dollar Monster and pay $100 plus an additional $20 admin fee to take part in this opportunity.
Now, inside the member’s area, you will have a referral link to promote. What you need to do is take this link and get people to join through it. When someone clicks and joins, they will automatically become your referral.
100 Dollar Monster has a forced 3 x 10 matrix compensation plan. Basically what it means is that when you join you are placed into the existing matrix of your sponsor, and you can immediately start building your own 3 x 10 matrix which contains a total of 88,572 positions that you can earn on.
Level 1 – 3 People
Level 2 – 9 People
Level 3 – 27 People
Level 4 – 81 People
Level 5 – 243 People
Level 6 – 729 People
Level 7 – 2187 People
Level 8 – 6561 People
Level 9 – 19,683 People
Level 10 – 59,049 People
So the total number of people (sales) that are possible in a 3 x 10 matrix is 88,572.
You will earn a minimum of $5 for every sale in your matrix, therefore 88,572 x $5 =$442,860 is possible from a full matrix. Plus an additional $50 for every personal referral that you make.
Really 6 Figure Income? My Personal Take on it?
As I have said earlier, you can’t.
Although on paper it looks easy to reach $400,000 it actual terms it never that straightforward.
(1) $120 immediate Investment may be big for many
One of the major issues with the business model is getting referrals. To be more specific, referrals that are willing to pay $120 upfront. There are not many people out there that are ready to splash $120 into an unknown program. So to get people to sign up under you is never going to be easy. Most people would just exit the page once they see you have to invest $120.
(2) Getting the referrals
If you thought that getting referrals is easy, you are in for a big surprise my friend. To get your referral link appearing in front of others need lots of marketing skills and knowledge. Even seasoned marketers are struggling to bring in referrals on a consistent basis.
You can’t just expect to spam your referral link on social media, forums, YouTube and expect to pull in regular referrals. Yes, you probably can get a few but definitely not enough to get you near the income that is promised.
Think about this, if getting referrals in was that easy, why does 100 Dollar Monster admins need your help. With their combined experience of over 30 years, they could have just brought in all the referrals and fill up their positions and keep the full commissions instead of sharing part of it with you.
Of course, you don’t see that happening. They need you to do the “hard” part, that is to get the referrals so they can earn money through the admin fees. They have a target of getting 100,000 people to join $100 Dollar Monster. So with $20 admin fee, they will easily earn over $2,000,000 without even putting much effort and you probably would be struggling to even make a 3 figure income.
(3) Why Bitcoin Payment?
Ever wondered why they are using Bitcoin as a payment method? With so many different payment processors like PayPal and Payza, why would they want to opt for Bitcoin which many people aren’t actually familiar with?
Well, there is definitely some hidden agenda behind it. Nowadays, with many payment processors, you would be able to lodge a complaint and be able to get back your money. 100 Dollar Monster obviously doesn’t want that because with their unreasonable claims they could be getting a ton of complaints heading their direction which would only result in them losing profits.
So to eliminate all of these, they decided to go with Bitcoin which is an easier and safer route to scam one’s money.
(4) Website closes, everything is gone
The problem with this opportunity is that you will totally rely on a website that you have no idea is owned or run by who.
What you need to know here is although the website is stated to stay until 2022, anything can happen and the site can be closed down at any time. There is no guarantee that the site will still be around until the expiry date.
So you purchase the program for $120 and start promoting it. One day it closes down without any notice, you will no longer be able to promote and earn any commissions. I have experienced something similar to this in a couple of occasions in the past where the site closed down with my money in their hand.
The best way to run an online business is to have your own website. This way you have control over everything.
(5) Simply because it’s not legitimate(Pyramid Scheme)
One of the biggest problems with 100 Dollar Monster is that the company doesn’t have any real products or services to market. Yes, they do provide some kind of marketing training to get you started on promoting your referral link but that isn’t enough to call it a standalone product itself.
All you are doing is getting people to join the making money opportunity itself, that is to recruit people and hope they pay the $120 and continue to recruit people like what you are doing. Once the number of affiliates promoting starts to drop, your earning will directly be affected too.
As you can see, you have no control over your downline. If they chose not to do anything, you aren’t going to get anything positive out of it.
My Final Thoughts
As I have already said earlier, I will never recommend the 100 Dollar Monster to anyone. Although it seems like a sure hit opportunity they are several things that will always work against your favor here. For that reason, it’s best to stay away from this program.
Another thing to ponder is the breakdown of where the money is going. What we are told is you are paying $100 + $20 additional admin fee. If you are only making $55 for everyone directly recruited member, the big question is where is the remaining money going to?
It seems more like more money is heading towards the admins rather than just the $20 admin fee that they have stated. All in all, the only people that are making money are the ones on the top of the pyramid, which in this case are the admins.
People like you and me are always going to be doing all the hard labor to keep the people on the top happy while we will never make the money like what they promised us.
I’m sure $120 isn’t a big amount to most of us. I wouldn’t say it’s more of wasting money but more of your time and effort and building false hopes in our minds. You definitely can put your time to better use such as running your own online business which is a much safer and wiser option in the long run.
All it takes is a passion and hunger to succeed!
